Bedfordshire Parent Partnership
Welcome to the Bedfordshire Parent Partnership Service website!
This service covers the whole of the County of Bedfordshire. It provides a free, confidential and impartial service for parents and carers of children with special educational needs.
Enjoy your visit, whether you are looking for specific information and need the information and leaflets page, where you can download copies of our own publications, or whether you are looking for events and news on the noticeboard.
How can the Parent Partnership help me?
If you are not happy with what the school does for your child, you can talk to the Special Educational Needs co-ordinator (SENCO), or your child's class teacher or subject teachers, or the headteacher. You can also contact the Parent Partnership Service for advice
It is also useful to talk to other parents through our Local Parent Forums|, or to link up with local and national voluntary organisations and parents' groups.
Bedfordshire Parent Partnership can offer you the following help:
-
Our service is confidential and we give you impartial advice and information. Our staff and trained volunteers act as Independent Parental Supporters.
-
We run group sessions for parents and carers about the services available in Bedfordshire.
-
We have information about voluntary groups and parents' support groups who may be able to help you.
-
We aim to print regular newsletters to provide help and advice for you and your child(ren).
-
We work closely with schools offering training and advice on building good working partnerships with parents/carers.
